Leslie Yaremko began her teaching career in Riviere Qui Barre north of Edmonton after completing a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Alberta. She also enjoyed teaching full time for twenty years with Elk Island Public Schools, and in 2011, Leslie began working with students at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Her work with students of all ages has spanned many years and continues to provide countless opportunities to share her writing. Her love of books, writing and storytelling are lifelong passions.
Leslie lives with her husband in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and when she's not working, spends vacation time relaxing with family and friends at their home on Vancouver Island.
